GREAT NEWS! You gave us the most tokens in Tesco's Bags of Help during November and December so we WON £4,000!

The Co-op Local Community Fund started on 28 October and will run for 12 months until the 26 October 2019.

Thanks to a very generous grant we have at last been able to re-surface the approach road and car park, which we inherited in such an awful state when we took over the pool in 2010.

We have also replaced all the overgrown hedge with smart new fencing.

Whilst sadly we haven't been able to make the car park any bigger, we have installed new road markings to make the public, disabled and staff parking much clearer and easier to control.

The 2020 Beccles Triathlon will take place on Sunday 7th June.

Registration opens at 11:00am on Saturady 14th December.

Please visit becclestri.com or Facebook for more information.

Big Dog Ferry

The Big Dog Ferry runs between Beccles Lido and Geldeston Locks Inn

A relaxing 3 mile boat journey along the River Waveney

Disembark and enjoy a meal or drink at The Locks Inn, or stay on board for the round trip. If you're feeling energetic you could take a one-way ticket and walk back along the riverside footpath.

We also collect and drop-off at Geldeston Marina and Three Rivers Campsite (for the Wherry Inn).

Booking highly recommended - please call 07532 072761 for bookings and visit www.bigdogferry.co.uk for timetable and more details

Canoe hire

We offer canoe hire from the Lido in association with TheCanoeMan

Enjoy a canoe trip upsteam from the lido on one of the most attractive and unspoilt stretches of the River Waveney. Dependent on how fast you paddle, the journey to The Locks Inn will take you about 1.5 hours each way, where you can stop for a meal or drink and makes for a lovely day out. Fancy a longer trip? The stretch of river above The Locks Inn to Ellingham is unnavigable to other craft so you can lose yourself in the peace and tranquillity of the wonderful river and it's wildlife

Advance bookings only - please call 0845 496 9177 or visit their website for more information and to book
