Retail Assistant

Applicants must be aged 16+ on date of contract commencement.

Zero hours contract, with hourly rate varying on age, starting from £7.55.

 

Start Date

Negotiable.

Ideally, applicants would generally be available weekends and school holidays from 3rd May 2025.

 

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers on arrival and check them in for their booked session.

  • Operate tills and handle financial transactions.

  • Maintain stock levels and stock rotation.

  • Prepare, cook and serve hot food to customers.

  • Undertake cleaning and housekeeping duties, alongside assisting Lifeguards with other site tasks.

  • Comply with cafe manual and hygiene rules, including allergy procedures.

  • Other duties as deemed necessary or as required.

  • Maintain facility and staff standards.

  • Provide first class customer service.

  • Assist and supervise The Canoe Man (TCM) hire launches.

Casual Lifeguard

Applicants must be aged 16+ on date of contract commencement.

Zero hours contract, with hourly rate varying on age, starting from £8.00.

Must hold a current and valid RLSS National Pool Lifeguard Qualification.

 

Start Date

Negotiable.

Ideally, applicants would be available from 3rd May 2025.

 

Responsibilities

  • Supervise swimmers in and around the pool to ensure safety of customers.

  • Complete pool, washroom, and site cleaning.

  • Maintain facility and staff standards.

  • Provide first class customer service.

  • Assist and supervise The Canoe Man (TCM) hire launches.

  • Maintain staff rotations and staff breaks.

  • Attend monthly training sessions to keep qualifications up to date.

  • Ensure the facilities are operated in an efficient and safe manner in accordance with the PSOP, national standards, and best practice.

  • Ensure facilities are cleaned and tidy, and all areas of the site are kept safe.

  • To work as part of a team, and on your own initiative, to overcome problems and ensure targets and objectives are met.
